Bio

My research includes investigation of the New South Wales (NSW) Visual Arts Syllabi, Years 7-10 and 11-12 and its integration into U.S. art education as well as the inclusion of social justice issues within U.S. art education teacher preparation programs. NSW art education is based upon art practice as research and includes the investigation of artist practice, the artist, the world, and the audience as seen through the lenses of the conceptual frames: subjective, structural, cultural, and postmodern.
